What Is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a 5000+-year-old alternative healing modality, originating from India. It uses an elemental system (space, air, fire, water, earth) to understand the body, mind, and world around us. These elements show up in the body as three different combinations, known as "doshas" or constitutions--Vata (space + air), Pitta (fire + water), and Kapha (water + earth). The goal of Ayurveda is to understand how our individual selves operate, and harmonize our inner world with our external world.

What Can Ayurveda Help With?

Ayurveda helps you bring harmony to your body and mind, and align you with what you are here to do. It helps create deep health by restoring and working with your body's innate wisdom through appropriate use of food, herbs, habits, and lifestyle.

It can also help with prevention and treatment of acute conditions such as anxiety & mood challenges, sleep disorders & low energy, digestive imbalances, skin conditions, pain, inflammation & arthritic conditions, menstrual challenges and PCOS.
