  • A slow burn that doesn’t fry your nervous system.


This cardamom matcha latte is my daily ritual when I want:

  • Energy without anxiety

  • Focus without a crash

  • Beauty without burnout


It’s grounding.

It’s elegant.

And ultimately… it’s sexy af.


Why This Cardamom Matcha Latte Supports Hormones + Energy 🌱

Matcha works differently than coffee.


Instead of spiking cortisol, it:

  • Delivers L-theanine, which smooths caffeine’s effect

  • Supports adrenal resilience

  • Enhances focus without jitters

  • Feels calming and energizing


This recipe goes a step further with spices that support digestion and circulation, making it ideal if you’re sensitive to caffeine or managing stress.


Estimated Nutrition (Per Serving)

Approximate:

  • Caffeine: 60–70 mg

  • Protein: 5–10g (depending on colostrum + milk choice)

  • Fat: 4–7g

  • Sugar: 0–3g


Gentle. Nourishing. Balanced.


Ingredients

Makes one 16 oz. latte

  • 1 teaspoon ceremonial-grade matcha

  • 1 cup hot filtered water

  • 1 cup milk of choice(I use oat milk or one without preservatives)

  • 1 scoop vanilla colostrum

  • Pinch of cardamom powder

  • Pinch of ginger powder


Optional:

  • Cinnamon

  • Vanilla extract

  • A touch of maple syrup or honey (if desired)

  • for 20g protein, add 1 scoop of collagen


How to Make It

  1. Add matcha, hot water, milk, colostrum, cardamom, and ginger (+any other optional ingredients) to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and frothy - make sure to hold the lid tight since the heat can pop off the lid!

    1. I use a Vitamix (because I just don’t feel like whisking)

  3. Pour into your favorite mug.

  4. Sip slowly & enjoy!

Notes on Matcha Powder

1 teaspoon matcha per ~2 cups total liquid (1 cup water + 1 cup milk) is balanced, gentle, and hormone-friendly.


Here’s how it breaks down 🍵

1 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha is standard for:

  • Calm focus

  • No jitters

  • No cortisol spike

  • Smooth energy


Especially when:

  • You’re blending (not whisking)

  • You’re adding milk + colostrum

  • You want it nourishing, not intense


This is a daily ritual dose, not a “punch-you-in-the-face” café matcha.



If you want to adjust your caffeine intake...

More subtle / gentler

  • ¾ tsp matcha

  • Best if you’re sensitive, luteal phase, or having it later in the day

Stronger / more focus

  • 1½ tsp matcha

  • Only if you tolerate caffeine well

Traditional Japanese-style

  • 1 tsp matcha

  • 2–3 oz hot water only

  • No milk, less water (much stronger + more stimulating)

  • 1 tsp matcha + 2 cups liquid = perfect

When to Drink This

Best times:

  • Morning

  • Late morning

  • Early afternoon


Avoid late afternoon if you’re sensitive to caffeine.

(I stop all caffeine by 12pm, ideally 11am)

Listen to your body.

It knows.


Make It Your Own

Try:

  • Coconut milk for grounding & cooling

  • Almond milk for lighter digestion

  • Extra cardamom during luteal phase

  • A splash of rose water for heart energy

  • A splash of orange blossom water if you want to feel like a fairy

    • (not too much - 1/2 tsp. max, otherwise you're drinking a flower garden)


There’s no one right way.

Only what supports you and makes you feel amazing and magical.
